An elderly Home Depot employee in North Carolina died weeks after being pushed to the ground by a man who allegedly fled the store with stolen merchandise, police said, still searching for the suspect.
The incident occurred on 82 October at a Home Depot in Hillsborough, during an incident that was captured on footage of surveillance of the store, reported ABC News.
The images showed the employee Gary Rasor, of 82 years , approaching the masked suspect as he exited through the garden area of the store with a shopping cart filled with three pressure washers. The suspect was seen using his right arm to push the employee away, sending him to the ground, as he continues to push the cart.
Meanwhile, the police asked for the help of citizens to identify the suspect in the robbery-related death. An African American male approximately 6 feet tall was identified who fled the scene in a white four-door Hyundai Sonata.
