Key of nations of the old continent

The third round of 16 match was uneventful: France defeated Poland with a score of 3-1 and goals from Kylian Mbappé and Olivier Giroud. The latter managed to establish himself as the all-time top scorer for Les Bleus with 91 goals, beating Thierry Henry.

The great favorites continued to clear their paths and this is reflected in the victory of England against Senegal with a 3-0 result. The Three Lions had never lost to an African opponent in the World Cup.
