Certified Pre-Owned Rolexes are available after December 2022 in Bucherer boutiques in six countries: Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France, Denmark and the United Kingdom. While other Official Rolex Dealers who decide to be part of this program will be able to do so starting in the spring of 2022.
The new program allows you to purchase watches second-hand that the brand itself has certified and guaranteed. The company explains that its goal is to add value to the existing offer of second-hand Rolex watches: “Because when these watches change hands, their authenticity must be verifiable at the time of resale by Official Dealers.”
In concrete terms, the Rolex Certified Pre-Owned Program confirms the authenticity of pre-owned watches that are at least three years old at the time of resale by an official retailer, which must display the special Rolex Certified Pre-Owned plate.
The Certified Pre-Owned Rolex stamp that accompanies the watches and the warranty card, delivered at the time of sale, officially confirm that the part is genuine and guarantees its correct operation. This card bears the words “Certified Used” and serves as an official certificate of authenticity.
