Frustration in football manifests itself in many ways, but what was seen this Wednesday with Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola ended up reminding us that sometimes anger is not the best path to take.

City’s 3-1 away win at Leeds United was emphatic, but it wasn’t like that throughout the game. Until Rodri’s goal in first-half aggregate, the Ciudadanos wasted multiple chances and in one of them Pep Guardiola unloaded all the annoyance on him… with the coaching staff of the opposing team.

After an offensive that ended with the ball in the stands, the Spanish coach decided that the best way to express his annoyance was by kicking a bottle of water that was on the grass.

However, what Guardiola did not expect was that the kick would end up on the rival bench and hitting a member of Leeds United.

Seeing his action, the strategist raised his hands to his head and ran directly to apologize for his unfortunate action.

On social networks there were several who joked about Guardiola’s kick, some assuring that the Catalan “wanted the rival to stay hydrated” while another cataloged the situation as “the highlight of the commitment”.

In the end, everything remained an anecdote and Manchester City secured the victory thanks to Erling Haaland’s double (51′, 64′) to continue following the trail of Arsenal, current leader of the Premier League.
