mother-escapes-with-her-10-month-old-baby-from-whom-she-had-lost-custody-after-grandparents-allowed-her-to-see-her-in-an-ohio-shopping-center

Authorities in Ohio are searching for a mother who ran away with her 10-month-old baby from whom she had no custody.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said 25-year-old Monica George took little Valerie Lala Williams from the Kenwood Towne Center on December 27.

According to the WCPO report, the girl’s paternal grandparents, who had custody, agreed to allow the mother to share with the little girl at the place. The relatives agreed to wait in the parking space while the little girl and her mother went shopping around the place. However, the couple lost communication with George, who did not reply to messages. The woman apparently turned off her cell phone.

Shortly after, the woman tested the grandparents to tell them that the girl’s father had picked them up and that the three had left the mall.

Surveillance cameras at the venue captured George leaving the venue from the Galbraith Road exit near Dillard’s department store at around 6 pm.

The two would have entered a white F150 with a Michigan license plate number ENK6403.

Sheriff’s Office investigators said the three traveled to Illinois and stayed at a Hyatt House Hotel the next day.

An arrest warrant was issued for George for interference with custody.

The woman was described as 5’2″ and 122 pounds; eyes and brown hair.

It is believed that the female is with the father of the minor, who was described as 5’7″ and 150 pounds; eyes and brown hair.

The little one has brown eyes and hair and weighs between 15 and 20 pounds.

The reasons why the baby was taken from her parents are not clear.
