Alaïa will spend the end of the year in Valencia, Spain, the homeland of her father Toni Costa, and away from her mother Adamari López. The dancer and choreographer traveled with his daughter to the country where he was born and announced it through social networks through a video in which they are seen carrying their luggage at a train station.

Costa, with great happiness, announces Valencia as his home and his land while showing Alaïa walking.

This will be the first year that the little girl is away from her mother, the Puerto Rican presenter of ‘Today’. This situation makes Adamari López’s heart a little broken, as she declared in an interview with ‘People in Spanish’ a few days ago:

“Alaïa will be with her father sharing those days away from home, which will be the first Christmas that Alaïa and I have not spent in the same place. I’m a little heartbroken, it’s hard not being able to be with her in those special moments, but it’s what she touches on her and that’s how we’ll do it from now on,” said the Puerto Rican.

Adamari López’s Christmas was also marked by the letter of wishes that she read from the program and that moved her until tears were present when talking about her father and mother.

“Daddy cute, thank you for all your love and affection, and especially for accompanying me for so many years on that morning trip from home to school, something that even as an adult you continued to do with your calls at 4:30 in the morning as a driver” she said through tears.

He also dedicated a few words to his mother: “I will always be wishing that I could have met my beloved Alaïa. She spoke to him every day about you and how I remember you with that smile, with that enthusiasm for life… You were sweet and you offered me everything I wanted. That perfect legacy that I intend to share with Alaïa, hopefully I can be for her a little bit of what you, today, more than 12 years after your departure, are for me”.
