There is less and less to go until the Clausura 2023 Liga MX tournament begins and the teams are already working hard in their preseason to see who will become the new Aztec football champion, in a competition that never stops receiving emotions before of its beginning.
In view of the desire to know who will be the new Mexican champion, the future betting houses of the casinos have already begun to make their projections about which team will be the champion of the tournament, being the Águilas of Club América and the Tuzos del Pachuca (current champions) favorites to lift the trophy this year.
According to betting centers throughout Mexico, Club América, Tuzos del Pachuca, Rayados de Monterrey and Tigres de la UANL are the main candidates to lift the Clausura 2023 trophy next May.
Despite this, América and Pachuca are at the top of the favorites by a slight difference.
If you bet 1,000 Mexican pesos (51 dollars) on America, the winner would receive the sum of 5,000 pesos (257 dollars) as a prize; if you bet on the two-time championship of Pachuca, the profit would be 5,500 pesos (282 dollars).
Monterrey and Tigres are among the favorites and below them are the Máquina de Cruz Azul, Santos Laguna and Toluca, teams that have a quota of +1100.
The predictions are not completely unreasonable, since the teams that are among the favorites finished in the first positions of the general classification of the Apertura 2022 tournament of the Liga MX, which shows that they are located as the elite of Aztec football.
Club América finished first in the table in the last tournament with 38 points, followed by Rayados de Monterrey, Santos Laguna, Tuzos del Pachuca, Tigres de la UANL, Club Toluca and Cruz Azul, thus dominating the first seven places to advance to the Liguilla of the tournament.
