how-to-become-a-passionate-giver-beyond-christmas

Christmas is a time for reflection and reconciliation, in which great acts of donation are generated, as well as situations in which people give any kind of help selflessly, but why opt for this custom only at the end of the day? of the year, when we can practice it during the eleven months that we have ahead of us?
Being a vehement giver has to do with the way we conceive of abundance in our lives. If we want to be prosperous, if we yearn to banish lack from our lives, we must learn to open our hands, extend our arms to give to others. That is one of the best things we can do as a legacy of love to the world.
I have always said that for me, having lived in Cuba for almost my first 30 years of life, left a trail of paradigms and habits of famine, which has taken me many years to compost in my mind, and turn it into fertilizer for this new person that I am. , who only knows how to live from well-being and abundance.
One of the high points to start developing this mentality is to find at least one area in our lives, be it professionally, academically, in our interpersonal relationships or at home; in which we are willing to become a vehement giver.
Once you have identified this area, start taking small steps for this transformation to occur in your life, with aspects as simple as honoring your commitments and your word, practicing kindness by developing assertive communication with our environment, and learning to let go of those perfectionists who constantly show a complacent attitude towards those around them.
Jorge Luis Borges said that: “He who gives does not deprive himself of what he gives. Giving and receiving are the same.” Selfishness used in a hoarding sense, where people cling to what they have and get from others, only leads the human being to rot his soul like stagnant water.
Let’s be like the rivers. Let’s learn to flow, to let go, to give our best. Only in this way can we ensure that we live in a constant cycle of well-being, in which we grow to the extent that we encourage those around us to develop.
Let’s make Christmas always, and not just a time of year.
