The match played between Real Madrid and Real Valladolid on December 30, with the score in favor of the white team 2-0, was overshadowed by a series of racist insults to the Brazilian Vinícius Júnior.
Motivated by this, Vinícius himself was forced to denounce La Liga Santander through its social networks, accusing it of doing little so that racists continue to attend the stadium.
“The racists continue to go to the stadiums and see the biggest club in the world up close and La Liga continues to do nothing… I will continue with my head held high and celebrating my victories and those of Madrid. In the end it is MY fault, ”said the Brazilian on his social networks.
Likewise, Twitter users started a campaign in support of Vinícius denouncing a series of videos in which it can be seen that various objects were thrown at the Brazilian from the stands. In addition, the attacker received insults such as: “Negro cabr…” and “negro de m…”.
In another video, it can be seen how some fans made sounds similar to those made by apes.
“Clown, monkey, you’re a monkey,” says a fan in another video that went viral on social media.
So far, La Liga Santander has not ruled on the matter and neither has Valladolid, given that the racist acts occurred in its stadium, José Zorrilla.
