Elon Musk recently uploaded a survey to ask Twitter users if he should continue at the helm of Twitter. 57.5% said no, a figure that prevailed over the 42.5% who asked for his continuity.
Given this scenario, the new owner of the platform wrote: “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone dumb enough to take the job! After that, I’ll just run the software and server teams.”
And Musk didn’t take long for an interested party to emerge, because shortly after a unique character appeared who wants to be at the head of Twitter, despite the complicated environment in which the social network has been involved since the arrival of the millionaire.
This is MrBeast, the youtuber with the most subscribers in the world, as he raised his hand and offered to occupy the highest position in the famous social network.
MrBeast, from his account on the platform, asked: “Can I be the CEO of Twitter?”, a publication that caused the surprise and reaction of thousands of users of the platform.
The idea for a moment made us think that it was a joke, but after the arrival of Musk, which has caused many users to migrate to other networks like Mastodon, the idea seems to have been attractive, because the aspiring CEO is very popular and in the digital world users are decisive.
MrBeast, is nothing more and nothing less than the youtuber with the most subscribers in the world, since he has more than 123 million regular fans so far.
And before this attractive panorama, Musk replied: “It is not out of the question”, a comment that caused hundreds of “likes”.
MrBeast continued his intent to be hired, telling Musk that if he stays on as the new CEO, his first task would be to “make creators actually want to post videos on Twitter and not just link to other platforms,” to which Musk responded with a resounding : “I could not agree more”.
We will have to wait a bit to find out if there is really interest from both parties and finally Twitter takes a different path that returns it to a less tortuous path that its new owner has taken it.
