dibu-martinez-goes-to-space:-innova-space-will-launch-a-picosatellite-with-his-name

Dibu Martínez’s stops at the Qatar 2022 World Cup changed him to earn the admiration of many, and such is the case of the company Innova Space, which has reported that it will send a picosatellite (small satellite) into space with his name.

“Well Dibu, we want to tell you a little about this idea. Innova was born from the idea that a teacher and two students develop the smallest satellite in Latin America. We were able to make it possible when everyone said it was impossible, we launched it over a year ago and we are very happy about it. But what we want to do today is thank you for all your achievements, everything you did to us, led us to the top of the world”, says the educator in the video.

“Therefore, we decided to rename the name of the next release and we are going to call it Dibu Martínez, in your tribute,” he concluded.

Recently, Innova Space announced that it will put into orbit two satellites that, according to Clarín, are 10×10 centimeters and weigh almost half a kilo.

The launch will be from the United States and will be carried out through the Falcon IX ship of the Space X company, belonging to Elon Musk.

At first the picosatellite would be called Simón Bolívar, in honor of the Liberator. Now, the second satellite will be the one that bears the name of the Venezuelan.
