When everything seemed to indicate that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo would no longer play on the same ground given the signing of the Portuguese by Al-Nassr, a club from Saudi Arabia, it seems that their paths will cross again.

And it is that the Saudi journalist, Achraf Ben Ayad, with more than 3.2 million followers on the social network Twitter, reported that on January 19 Paris Saint-Germain and the stars of Al-Nassr and Al Hilal, “ They will play a friendly match.”

On December 30, Cristiano made his signing for Al-Nassr official and hours later, Acharf released the information that makes sense considering the Arab origin of the owners of the Parisian team.

Messi and Cristiano have represented one of the most outstanding football rivalries in history. However, since the Portuguese’s departure from Real Madrid in 2018 they have been able to play very little against each other.

Al-Nassr sources report that CR7 will join the club’s training sessions on January 2, so they will have only two weeks to get in tune and possibly play a match for which no details are officially known or confirmed by any of the the involved parts.
