The Clausura 2023 tournament of the Liga MX is about to start and several players are beginning to ensure that their respective sports institutions are the best to win the title of champion; The last to speak of this fact was the star of the Chivas Rayadas of Guadalajara, Fernando Beltrán.
The 24-year-old midfielder said that despite the fact that his team has not managed to win a championship title in recent years, they continue to be the best club in the entire country due to their history, organization, fans and style of play.
In an interview for the Mexican newspaper TUDN, Beltrán considered that it has been difficult for Chivas to be located in the first places of the classification table, but that this facet will change soon after the change of sports director and the incorporation of new players for this tournament. .
“Chivas is still the best in Mexico, I don’t like to talk because I haven’t been a champion either, but the championship here is worth more than in any team, I know what it is to suffer here to get there, you go against everything. When I got here, I began to see how difficult the challenge of putting Chivas at the top is, ”he said.
During the interview he also spoke about Alexis Vega’s growing desire to emigrate to football in Europe. However, he assured that he himself asked him to stay in Mexico to finally be able to conquer the goals set by Chivas de Guadalajara for several years and thus be able to give the fans the joy they so desire.
“A good team has been put together, not from now but from a long time ago, where they have brought good players in positions that we have needed. Alexis returned from the World Cup and how he played, the desire he had to fulfill his dream of going to Europe and everything, I have spoken a lot with him and I have asked him that we need him here, ”he highlighted.
Chivas de Guadalajara will make its debut in the Clausura 2023 tournament next Saturday against Rayados de Monterrey, in a match that represents a real challenge for the Sacred Flock because “La Pandilla” is one of the favorites to become champion.
