Authorities in Miami, Florida, have yet to find the suspects in shooting at least 10 people outside a restaurant while a rap video was being recorded with exponents French Montana and Rob49.
Local media reports such as WFOR-TV and WSVN indicate that the incident occurred at The Licking late last night.
At about 8 pm, officers from Miami Gardens arrived at the scene where they found several wounded. To date, no fatalities have been reported. Miami-Dade firefighters and paramedics also responded to the area.
Although authorities have not confirmed the number of injuries, preliminary reports point to at least 10.
One of the witnesses to the incident told WFOR-TV that the emergency was reported during a video recording of rapper French Montana that was taking place near the restaurant.
The person said they heard between 10 and 15 shots before people ran outside.
“We continue to work on the scene. Yes, there are multiple gunshots, there are multiple cases,” Miami Gardens Detective Diana Gorgue told WSVN. “We continue working. We cannot confirm any number at this time, because everything is very recent and they continue to investigate, “added the spokeswoman.
For his part, another witness, identified as Ced Mogul, said that when he left the restaurant to see the rapper, a person in the crowd had his watch and wallet stolen, which allegedly caused the situation to escalate.
According to the man, there were at least 13 shots. The witness added that it was all very fast and that it sounded like an assault rifle.
