One of these is the French striker for the UANL Tigres, André-Pierre Gignac, who arrives at the Clausura 2023 with the aim of reaching 200 goals in his career with the university institution; the fact would represent a record for the scorer and especially for the team, since he would be the first player in its entire history to reach that figure.
Gignac currently stands as the top scorer for the cats by scoring a total of 175 goals, which means that he only needs 25 goals to achieve it and he has all the skills this year to be able to conquer this mark that he will undoubtedly be able to beat without problems. being one of the most effective gunners in the Aztec league.

Despite being 37 years old, André-Pierre Gignac does not cease to amaze within the MX League, because during 2022 he added a total of 22 goals, a figure quite close to what he must achieve this year to be able to write down his name as definitive form in the history of the UANL Tigers and of all Mexican football.
Throughout his career in Mexico, Gignac has managed to score the 25 goals he is looking for in the years 2016, 2018 and 2020, while in the 2017, 2019 and 2022 seasons he was barely a couple of goals apart from the mark that hopes to beat this year.
Gignac has established himself as one of the most beloved figures within the UANL Tigers for his goalscoring ability, in addition to receiving the full support of each of the technical directors who have been in charge of the university bench.
