viola-davis-shows-off-the-recent-remodel-she-did-to-her-toluca-lake-mansion

Viola Davis and Julius Tennon are a powerful Hollywood couple who by now can afford all kinds of luxuries. That is why it is not surprising that they have decided to do a major remodeling in the mansion where they have lived for five years.

The end result was so attractive that it caught the attention of the ‘Architectural Digest’ team, who visited the Toluca Lake property and filmed a tour of the site with Davis and Tennon.

During the tour, the stars confessed that they were already a bit tired of the old monochromatic and austere style, but of course, without transforming their home into a space that is very different from what is the personal style of each one.

Viola Davis told ‘Architectural Digest’: “I always want to be big and bold, but not too bold, not loud.”

For the remodeling they hired the services of the renowned Los Angeles designer Michaela Cadiz.

Tennon also explains that while they were remodeling their home in Los Angeles, they were filming the movie ‘The Woman King’ in South Africa, so the new decoration is inspired by the culture of that African country.

Among the spaces that call the attention of the remodeled property is the dining area. Its walls are now covered in cloud design wallpaper by Barnaba Fornasetti. Additionally, the dining room has a large chandelier and a cherry table designed by Tennon.
