Miley Cyrus will release a preview song from her upcoming album this Friday. To delight her fans, the pop star promoted the event with a suggestive video in which she is shown naked singing a cappella under the shower.
In the clip, the 30-year-old singer is portrayed in half profile showing her torso with her tattoos and her toned figure while singing the song “Flowers”, which is speculated to be addressed to Liam Hemsworth, the artist’s ex-partner.
The former Hannah Montana effectively chose January 13 as the track’s release date, the same day the Australian actor will turn 33. In the video, Miley stars in a prominent display that serves as a teaser for her new musical bet.
In the clip, which she uploaded to her social media, Cyrus is seen rinsing off in the shower as she sings the song with no accompaniment except for the sound of running water for about half a minute in length.
‘Endless Summer Vacation’ will be Cyrus’s eighth album and will be released on March 10. The full track list has yet to be revealed, but it is known that the record featured producers Kid Harpoon, Greg Kurstin, Mike Will Made-It and Tyler Johnson.
His last record work was ‘Plastic Hearts’, a search for rock that included an eighties pop song in a duet with the British Dua Lipa, “Prisoner”. The album features 12 songs, including collaborations with Mark Ronson on “High” and veterans Billy Idol (on “Night Crawling”) and Joan Jett (on “Bad Karma”). Within the repertoire there are arrangements that sound a lot like mid-tempo electro pop from the eighties.
