The Colombian soccer player Teófilo Gutiérrez returns to star in a new controversy on social networks, after he decided to raffle a Lionel Messi shirt that he obtained during a World Cup Qualifying match.

After the Argentine team was proclaimed champion of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, Gutiérrez appeared on social networks saying that in a match against Colombia Messi looked for him in a Barranquilla locker room to exchange shirts.

The story had such a stir that the Colombian decided to raffle the shirt on his social networks, in order to collect money and allocate it to gifts for underprivileged children at Christmas.

Each number of the raffle had a cost of 20,000 Colombian pesos, equivalent to about $4 dollars, and he assured that the final draw would be done with a special application.

However, a few days ago he posted on his Instagram account that no one had won the raffle, and that was when the criticism began.

Users asked “Teo” to organize another raffle so that there would be a winner, and he said that he would possibly do it later.

Until now, the Colombian continues with Messi’s shirt, and recently published a vacation photo and some people accused him of having spent the money from the raffle on that trip.
