A man won the jackpot playing a Scratch-Off lottery in California. The California Lottery announced that Louis Farillas, of San Pedro City played the 10 Million Dollar Titanium Black Scratchers game and his $30 ticket purchase turned into a $10 million dollar win.
The lottery said that Farillas chose to receive an annual check for $400,000 for the next 25 years instead of receiving the sum in a single payment, as reported by the TV6 portal.
Farillas wasn’t the only recent winner in California, as the lottery announced another $2 million winner for the Instant Prize Crossword game and a $1 million Power 10 Scratch-Off ticket winner. .
California Lottery funding for public education totaled $1.88 billion in fiscal year 2020-21.
