A retired woman in Texas said she was “fed up” with strangers coming to her home looking for prostitutes because of an incorrect or false address advertised as a promotion for a space for sexual services.
Elaine White, 66, told NBC that she has been harassed by more than two dozen men since April of last year. Although other reports mention the month of August.
According to the woman, individuals have knocked on her door at different times for sexual services.
The men’s argument is that they paid money through the Venmo application to obtain the services of women whom they located at that address. Rhonda, Kelly and Nicki are just a few of the names that have been mentioned by applicants.
The most recent visitor arrived at the residence in Plano on January 16.
“I feel violated,” White denounced the network this Friday. “My house is the space where I feel safe.”
Following the disclosure of the story this week, the Police went to the house this Friday and installed a camera to discourage sex seekers from approaching the house.
The apparatus, enabled on a trailer, rotates 360 degrees to capture all angles of the neighborhood.
“(The camera) is rolling constantly,” Plano Police Officer Jennifer Chapman said. “I hope it’s a deterrent to anyone going there to do what he’s doing.”
“It’s very scary,” added the woman about the arrival of strangers.
The resident recounted that one of the unexpected visitors, from Laredo, sat on her porch with a pack of beers and a bottle of whiskey from midnight until 2 a.m.
“The man told the police that he was there since 12 and that he was going to wait another 10 or 15 minutes,” White said. “(He thought) ‘Kelly’ was going to come looking for him. He saw two cars parked outside my house, so he thought he had to wait his turn, ”the female recalled.
In another incident caught on the security camera installed at her door, a man told her that he was there to meet someone named Rhonda.
“For drugs or sex?” White asked.
“Um, the second one,” he replied.
“Well, you know what, you have the wrong address and I’m giving you 10 seconds to get out or the police are going to get you,” White told the man before he threw up his hands, turned and ran.
