Amanda Dudamel, first runner-up in Miss Universe 2022, is back in Venezuela after her participation in the universal beauty pageant. After her return to her homeland, the young Venezuelan shared with a group of girls in Petare, one of the largest neighborhoods in the capital, the country and Latin America.
In the photographs shared by the first finalist, she is seen wearing a handmade crown, made with foam and decorated with some shiny stones. In other photos, the Venezuelan put that crown on the girls on her head, also crowning herself as queens.
“I promised to come back soon… and here we are!!! What I never imagined was that you would continue to surprise me so much and teach such great things. That crown must belong to each one of you, the true queens of our country, ”Dudamel said in the publication where he shows his visit to the girls.
Amanda Dudamel was the first runner-up and the American R’Bonney Gabriel was crowned Miss Universe, a situation that aroused much controversy in public opinion because Internet users thought that the crown should belong to the Venezuelan.
In this regard, the Venezuelan declared that her participation in Miss Venezuela, and later Miss Universe, went beyond winning a crown.
“The sensations still continue to amaze me. When everything happened I felt that I had an external vision… I felt that my triumph went beyond just the crown. I did not go to Miss Universe just for the crown, I wanted to show what Venezuelans are made of, what Venezuelans are capable of achieving… This goes beyond being the most beautiful woman in Venezuela and on the planet,” she said.
