The tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce, wanted to dedicate a few words this Sunday to the mayor of Ohio, Aftab Pureval, who recommended him to “shut his mouth” after his team’s victory against the Cincinnati Bengals that gave the pass to Super Bowl LVII that they will play against Philadelphia Eagles.
Just seconds after the end of the game Kelce took the microphones to say a few words of thanks to the fans and seconds before the end he addressed Pureval for the previous comments he had made towards the Chiefs.
“Hey, I have some words for the Mayor of Cincinnati… Know your role and shut your mouth,” said one of the protagonists of the triumph.
The strong statements were made after days before the matchup between the Chiefs and Bengals, Pureval “joked” with the sports paternity (until before this meeting) of quarterback Joe Burrow on the Kansas City star, Patrick Mahomes.
“Burrow was asked to take a paternity test to determine if he is the father of Mahomes,” he jokingly commented.
Pureval also took the opportunity to remember last season’s victory against the Chiefs, on that occasion the result was 27-24, but all that was left behind with this Sunday’s result.
