As was speculated, British singer Rita Ora, 32, and New Zealand filmmaker Taika Waititi, 47, are newly married.
The singer-songwriter, according to The Hollywood Reporter, made an appearance on the ‘Heart Breakfast Show’ to promote her new single, “You Only Love Me”, during which she confirmed that they are married.
“Yes. Here we are,” Ora said when asked about her marital status by Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden.
“They say that everything happens for a reason. I’m officially ‘off the market,’ people.”
She went on to explain that they had a “Perfect” wedding that was “Exactly the way she wanted it,” without elaborating.
Apparently, the link would have taken place at the end of last summer. It is the second marriage for Waititi and the first for Ora.
“It was nice and perfect,” the singer said. “Completely how I wanted it, just for me sometimes. It was very sweet. Sorry, not that interesting! One day we will have a big party. I’ll find the time to have a big, big party.”
The director of ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ was together for a decade with producer Chelsea Winstanley and they have two daughters.
The interpreter of “Let You Love Me” had a famous, although brief romance with the Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.
