Spaniard Isco Alarcón is a free agent after parting ways with Sevilla FC in early January. The man born in Malaga had arrived from Real Madrid in the middle of last year, when he ended his contract with the white team.
Now, a few hours before the winter market closes, Spanish media have suggested that Isco Alarcón is close to confirming his signing for FC Unión Berlín, a German Bundesliga team that is currently in second place in the tournament.
Only one point separates Isco from the point currently dominated by Bayern Munich. Also, a unit puts him above the third place that Leipzig has.
In this way, to materialize the signing, Isco would reach a team that has great possibilities of winning the German tournament and also, he could play in the Champions League next year at the age of 30.
At the moment, the man from Malaga has not given any indication of the closure of the negotiation, something that the club has not done either.
But the truth is that within a very short time, said information leaked from the old continent will be confirmed or denied, since the transfer market ends on January 31 at 23:59 CET.
During his time at Sevilla, Isco played 12 La Liga Santander matches in which he provided two assists and scored no goals. In the Champions League he played all six group stage matches.
