The River Plate team from Argentina has finally made official the hiring of Venezuelan striker José Salomón Rondón, who was formally introduced as a new team player after signing his contract on Monday that will link him with the club for a total of two seasons.
The information was released by the millionaire team through their social networks, where they shared an image of Rondón wearing the club’s shirt; later they published two more in which he is signing the contract in the company of the president of River, Jorge Brito, and vice president Matías Patanian.
In the publications they welcomed the “Gladiator” and wished him the best of success in this new stage of his career, which was marked for many years in Europe and reached the point of becoming champion of the soccer league of Russia.
“Salomón Rondón, new River Plate player. He met with the President @jorgebrito_ok and the Vice President @ matias.patanian and signed the contract that makes him a player of our Institution until December 2025. WELCOME! ”, The team wrote in their publications.
As the club’s technical director, Martín Demichelis, had anticipated, Rondón immediately joined River Plate’s training sessions to start his restructuring process and thus allow the Venezuelan to get to know his teammates and especially the game mechanics of the institution. .

The 33-year-old striker signed a two-year agreement with the franchise and it becomes one of the team’s most important agreements for the current transfer market. In addition, he becomes the second Venezuelan to wear the millionaires’ jersey after César “Maestrico” González.
