husband-of-mother-accused-in-massachusetts-of-strangling-her-three-children-asks-for-forgiveness

The husband of the woman accused in Massachusetts of killing her three children before jumping out of a window in a suicide attempt asked the public to forgive her.

In Patrick Clancy’s opinion, his “real” wife Lindsay is loving and caring.

“I want to ask everyone to look within to forgive Lindsey like I have,” the man shared over the weekend in an update to the GoFundMe page to raise funds for medical and funeral expenses.

Until the afternoon of this Tuesday, the donations totaled almost $1 million dollars ($950,013), which is the goal of the campaign.

“The real Lindsay was lovingly generous and caring towards everyone — me, our children, family, friends and her patients. The very fibers of her soul were loving. All I hope for her now is that she can somehow find peace,” the man shared on the platform.

Lindsay, a 32-year-old nurse, was charged last Wednesday with the murder – apparently by strangulation – of Cora, Dawson and Callan, ages 5 and 3, and 8 months, respectively.

Callan, who turned 8 months a day later, was taken in critical condition to Boston Children’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Friday.

The facts would have been reported on Tuesday when the father left the family home in Duxbury to look for food. When the man returned, he found the children unconscious and with signs of trauma. After the attacks, the woman jumped out of a window in an attempt to take her own life.

Authorities are examining the allegation that the woman was suffering from postpartum psychosis.
