The experienced Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, became the new signing of Nottingham Forest of England on Tuesday just a few minutes before the transfer market closed in European football.
Navas, 36, was announced in an official statement issued on the Nottingham Forest website and will arrive on loan from PSG for the next six months looking to see minutes, to have the regularity he has lost since Gianluigi Donnarumma arrived to the French team.
In total, he stayed in the French capital for four years after arriving from Real Madrid, the club with which he achieved his greatest achievements.
With the Merengues shirt, he won 12 trophies, highlighting three UEFA Champions League, a Spanish league, among other personal awards such as being the best goalkeeper in Europe in the 2017-2018 season.
In addition, Navas personally has played 564 matches during his extensive career, of which 110 have been for the Costa Rican National Team, with which he has participated in three consecutive World Cups (2014/2018/2022).
The addition of Tico was the last confirmed by the Reds on the day the market closed, after the arrivals of Brazilian defender Felipe, former Atlético de Madrid, and Englishman Jonjo Shelvey, from Newcastle.
