International media say that Priscilla Presley is questioning the validity of the will left by her late daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. Apparently an amendment was made to it in 2016, however the documents have presented a certain number of spelling errors that have set off alarm bells in Lisa Marie Presley. Priscilla’s lawyers also claim that Priscilla had no knowledge of this alleged amendment. And it is that everything seems to indicate, according to her lawyers, that she was made aware of it until after the death of Lisa Marie.
In short, the scandal in this whole family imbroglio exists because with these changes, by replacing her as trustee, Priscilla is no longer tied to her daughter’s assets. Now, about the inheritance of the deceased there is also much to say and that is that in recent years it was rumored that Lisa Marie’s finances were made in chaos, according to CBS News.
Now, if Lisa Marie’s mother is no longer the trustee, who are the ones who do appear in her will? As reported by BBC Mundo, the heirs would be her children: Lisa Marie, Riley and Benjamin Keough.
It should be added that the irregularities around the aforementioned amendment do not end there, this, when it was made, was neither witnessed nor notarized and Priscilla was not informed about it as she should. It is worth adding that Benjamin Keough, one of the beneficiaries, passed away on July 12, 2020 in Calabasas, California.
Lisa Marie Presley was fired with a public funeral
The singer-songwriter also died on January 12 at the age of 54 after being hospitalized urgently after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest. Her autopsy, however, was not conclusive to determine the official cause of her death, according to the EFE news agency.
