This Wednesday PSG visited Montpellier on the 22nd date of Ligue 1 in France, a meeting that Kylian Mbappé will surely never want to remember, as the Frenchman had a night to forget in the Parisian squad shirt.
It all started just in the 9th minute when the main player of the match sentenced a penalty for PSG, which Mbappé executed to the left but the goalkeeper Benjamin Lecomte saved, however with the VAR verification they determined that the goalkeeper took the lead, which ended in a repetition of the maximum penalty.
On the second opportunity, the Frenchman would surprisingly fail again, this time he crashed it against the right post and even more incredible, he also missed the rebound that was left to an empty goal.
In less than 10 minutes into the game, the forward had already missed two penalties, it seemed that it was not the night of the world runner-up in Qatar and the worst came in fraction 21 of the match, as Mbappé had to be removed from the pitch after a strong kick received by Léo Leroy.
PSG ended up winning the match with a score of 1-3. The goals came through Fabián Ruiz at minute 55, Lionel Messi at 72 and Zaire Emery to sentence the end at 92.
For now, the severity of the blow that had to take Mbappé off the field is not known. PSG has key commitments between the French Cup and the Champions League, when it is their turn to face Bayern in the round of 16 of the continental competition.
