Ozzy Osbourne announced the cancellation of his tour and the rest of his live performances due to physical health conditions that prevent him from traveling.
The 74-year-old rocker’s tour that was scheduled to take place in May in which he would play shows in the UK and the rest of Europe had already been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a statement published on social networks, Ozzy Osbourne thanks his fans for waiting for his tour and explains his physical condition.
“This is probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to share with my loyal fans. As everyone knows, four years ago I had a serious accident in which I damaged my spine. My sole purpose during this time has been to return to the stage,” he wrote.
The interpreter of “Paranoid” commented that he has undergone stem cell treatments and therapies, however, his body has not responded as it should.
“I never would have imagined that my touring days would end this way. My team is working to find a way for me to continue singing live without having to travel from city to city and country to country,” she added.
Ozzy Osbourne’s team is looking for alternatives so that he can sing live again and thanked his fans who kept their tickets for 4 years.
“I am honestly humbled by the way you have patiently kept your tickets all this time. But in all conscience, I have now realized that I am not physically capable of doing my upcoming Europe/UK tour dates as I know I would not be able to cope with the necessary travel,” he added.
In 2019 the singer was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, he also had a severe fall that affected his nerves for which he had to undergo several surgeries.
