the-possible-destinations-of-sergio-ramos-if-he-does-not-renew-with-psg-in-june

Sergio Ramos has a few months left to define his future. The Spanish defender has not been able to show the best version of him at PSG, so the renewal is not guaranteed.

Everything seems to indicate that the central defender’s litmus test is in the facet he demonstrates in the UEFA Champions League, when his team faces Bayern Munich on February 14.

If he demonstrates a good level, it would be likely that Paris Saint-Germain will renew him, but otherwise, his future could be in two distant scenarios from the old continent.

Ramos has come out to face the fans of a PSG that has only been able to win two of its last 5 games in Ligue 1.

The first option that Ramos could consider would be to follow in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo and end up at Al-Nassr. At 36 years old, Ramos could close his career with a good number of millions insured and in the company of “El Bicho”. Rumors that the Arab club want him have not been long in coming for the last week and considering his age, it doesn’t sound far-fetched.

The other alternative would be Major League Soccer. American soccer is not short of money, and considering the growth it has shown in recent years, it is not surprising that several MLS teams are interested in the defender’s services.

The truth is that, for the moment, Ramos is a PSG card and knowing the competitive nature that characterizes him, it should not be surprising that his wishes go through continuing to play in a team that sees light in the UEFA Champions League.
