tom-brady-announced-his-retirement-after-23-seasons-in-the-nfl

This Wednesday the quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady, announced his retirement from American football through a video on his social networks. With 45 years and 23 seasons played in the NFL, the player will put an end to a successful career, which led him to be considered one of the best in history.

“I’ll get to the point right away. I retire forever”, was how the field marshal started his statement in an emotional clip in which he is seen on the verge of tears.

“Thank you so much to each one of you for supporting me, my family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors, I could go on forever. There are too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream”, commented the player.

Brady wore the New England Patriots uniform for 20 years, with which he won six Super Bowl rings and three more years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, winning their seventh championship.

Last year Brady had also announced his retirement in mid-January, however a couple of months later he stated that: “The work is not finished”, to play his 23rd season.
