Actor David Harbor and singer Lily Allen have spent time focused on their careers, but that hasn’t put their plans as a couple aside. An example of this is the remodeled house they have in the Carroll Gardens neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York.

The couple recently opened the doors of their home to the specialized magazine ‘Architectural Digest’, who recorded a tour of the place and reviewed every detail.

Harbor and Allen worked on the redevelopment alongside renowned designer Billy Cotton and MADE architect Ben Bischoff. Cotton tells the magazine that singer-songwriter Lily Allen was very demanding at all times, she was very clear about what she wanted for her home.

The actor also highlighted the work of his partner in the remodeling. “His taste of him is bold, silly, funny, eccentric, it’s exciting,” said Harbour, who is currently recognized for being part of the cast of the hit Netflix series ‘Stranger Things.’

The facade of the property is quite traditional with its late 19th century Italian style and brownstone walls. Although it had a certain appeal, repairs had to be made because time had deteriorated it.

The interior designer commented that he followed three layers for the design: traditional English, modern Brooklyn house and Italian style.

The tour of the property began in the kitchen. This space has white cabinets in immaculate but somewhat vintage style, there is a center island, marble countertops, a large crystal chandelier and high-end appliances. There is also a breakfast area next to one side of a large window, so you can have breakfast there or have a coffee with the first rays of the sun.

For some, the final result of this decoration could be a bit overloaded by its patterned rugs and walls, but for lovers of interior design it is a reference.
