gareth-bale-made-his-professional-golf-debut-with-an-incredible-shot-in-pga-tour-competition-[video]

Not a month has passed since the Welshman Gareth Bale announced his retirement from football and he has already materialized what he hoped to do: play golf professionally, a sport that he is as passionate about as or more than football, and he has done so by debuting in the PGA.

But also, on February 2, Bale not only became a trend for making his debut, but also thanks to the incredible shot he made on the “cart path” of the Spyglass Hill golf course, located in Pebble Beach, California.

Bale has teamed up with former Korn Ferry Tour Championship winner Joseph Bramlett to compete in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, in which 156 amateurs compete against 156 professionals.

“It was a great shot and I just tried to play on the bench and hope for the best like most fans do,” Bale said of his striking.

“It’s something that’s just different and it’s a great experience, and I’m lucky to have made one of my best shots on the first fairway, which was nice,” concluded the former Real Madrid.

Bale said goodbye to football after the Qatar 2022 World Cup

After playing all the group stage matches of the Qatar 2022 World Cup with the Wales team, Gareth Bale announced his retirement when he was part of the ranks of Los Angeles FC.

Bale played most of his career at Tottenham and Real Madrid, stages in which he managed to win five Champions Leagues, four Club World Cups and three Leagues.
