The renowned basketball player Stephen Curry is not having a good personal moment, as he is facing a fight of interest in the area where he lives with his wife Ayesha.
The Currys currently live in Atherton in San Mateo County, California. They have a large mansion with extensive green areas and many amenities inside.
The problem is that a developer company bought the property that is right next to it and has plans to build a multi-family with 16 individual houses.
The couple is not satisfied with this construction and filed a complaint with the authorities, considering that these homes will reduce the exclusivity of the area. What is understood about these homes is that they will be cheaper, which will make all kinds of people have access to them.
Some media have shared details of the letter that was sent by the basketball player via email. “Safety and privacy for ourselves and our children remains our top priority and one of the main reasons we choose to live in Atherton.”
They continue: “We kindly ask that the City adopt the new housing element without the inclusion of 23 Oakwood. If that weren’t enough for the state, we ask that the city commit to investing in significantly higher fencing and landscaping to block sight lines to our family’s property.”
It should be remembered that the couple’s property has an area of 17,761 square feet distributed over three floors with seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, hall, kitchen, dining room, living room, main room, cinema room, bar, wine cellar, laundry room and other amenities.
