fc-barcelona-studies-the-possibility-of-carrying-advertising-on-shorts

Historically, FC Barcelona had been characterized by not carrying advertisements on their shirts. However, the crisis that has dogged the team in recent years has led it to take measures such as selling the name of the Camp Nou stadium (now Spotify Camp Nou), or the action that takes the longest, including sponsorships on their jerseys.

But in recent days, Spanish media have assured that the culé team is studying the possibility of including advertising in the shorts, with the Dutch technology company Philips being one of the main bidders. In addition, the possibility of placing a sponsor on one of the sleeves of the shirts is handled.

If the negotiation comes to fruition, the Barça team would be ensuring a figure that could be around $3 and $5 million dollars, an amount that would not hurt them at all to justify income, comply with the Financial Fair Play and later be able to make transfers for the next season.

Barcelona had made a plan for this season, in which they envisioned earning income in the Champions League until the quarterfinals, a stage that, as is well known, they failed to reach due to their elimination in the group stage.

Now, the club led by Joan Laporta seeks to exploit 100% of its clothing to make up for the money it failed to obtain in the European competition.
