the-mysterious-woman-who-entered-the-apartment-with-john-poulos-where-he-later-killed-colombian-dj-valentina-trespalacios

The authorities in Colombia have not yet established the whereabouts or identity of a woman who entered the apartment he rented in Bogotá with John Poulos to allegedly kill DJ Valentina Trespalacios.

Images from security cameras held by the Attorney General’s Office captured Poulos on January 19 entering the building with a female.

That would have been the day the 35-year-old American arrived in the South American country.

In the photo taken from security cameras that circulates in various media and social networks, it is seen when the Texas resident arrives at the apartment with a black-haired woman who is not Trespalacios. Both leave two hours after the place.

Investigators in the femicide case have not been able to establish who the mysterious woman is or what she was doing with Poulos in the unit a few days after the murder of Trespalacios, 23, was reported in the same place. However, her statements could be revealing given that she is the person who was in the apartment with Poulos before the crime.

The date on which the images were captured, January 19, Poulos and Trespalacios discussed on WhatsApp.

In the messages, the DJ assures the foreigner that she was not with another man but with her friend Manuela at her house.

“Who said I’m going to a party, I made a video call, I’m with Manuela at her house, we went to a cannabis conference and that’s it, yes there were more people, but I’m not with anyone, I don’t know where you get that from ”, was part of the exchange of messages that quoted media in the country. .

Although Valentina tells the man that she has several appointments for January 20, she adds that she will go to live with him that day in apartment 802 of the luxurious Kappadocia residential complex where she was eventually murdered. It is then that Poulos tells her that she was silent and she replies “good night”.

On January 21, security camera images show Trespalacios entering the property with Poulos. The next day, after 11 am, Poulos leaves the apartment with a blue suitcase inside a shopping cart that would contain the body of the DJ.

Poulos’s still wife, Ashley, told CBS this week that she had filed for divorce from the man in 2021 for being abusive. Since that date, the defendant has not seen his children and has not sent him money for support, according to the woman.

Poulos would have assassinated Trespalacios out of jealousy after discovering a parallel relationship between the victim and Santiago Luna, also a Colombian.
