these-are-the-uscis-changes-to-the-green-card-to-avoid-fraud

The Office of Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) made changes to the designs of the Green Card and the Employment Authorization Document (EAD).

Those changes aren’t just cosmetic, however, as the agency has applied advanced technology to prevent fraud, acknowledging that fraudsters use better methods of forging documents.

The agency reported that there are several elements integrated into the new design, all with state-of-the-art technology to “safeguard national security and improve customer service.”

“This redesign further demonstrates USCIS’s commitment to taking a proactive approach against the threat of tampering with secure documents, forgery, and fraud,” said USCIS Director Ur M. Jaddou.
