A few months before Marco Asensio’s contract with Real Madrid ends, the future of the 27-year-old Spaniard is uncertain. Prior to the start of the current season, Carlo Ancelotti admitted that the footballer was looking for a new team, although that came to nothing.
But from Football Insider information related to the fate of Asensio has arrived. The outlet claims that Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham would be interested in the attacker’s services.
Asensio is signing one more season as a substitute at Real Madrid, being the replacement for Vinícius Junior, Rodrigo Goes and Karim Benzema, something that he has made known, is not to his liking.
In the absence of Rodrigo due to injury, Asensio had an opportunity to show what he is made of in the Madrid derby, although he could not appear in front of the goal that the white team needed to get past the tie.
So far this La Liga Santander season, Asensio has played in 18 of the 23 games that have taken place, contributing with four goals and three assists. Throughout the previous campaign he signed 10 goals in 31 games.
In the Champions League, Ancelotti has had Marco Asensio in the seven games he has accumulated so far. However, the footballer has only been able to score two goals.
