The former in-laws of a Hong Kong model have been charged with murder after her legs were discovered in a fridge.

Abby Choi, 28, was allegedly murdered after a disagreement over a multi-million dollar luxury property with her ex-husband’s family.

Police say they found human tissue on tools “used to dismember human bodies” in a flat on Friday, according to the Evening Standard.

The property is reportedly located in Lung Mei village in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district.

Police have arrested four people, including her ex-husband Alex Kwong, 28, her father, mother and brother since Choi went missing on Wednesday. The latter three have been charged with murder while her ex-husband Alex continues to be questioned.

His partial remains were found in a flat converted into a butcher’s shop in Tai Po’s beachfront getaway, which was rented by his father-in-law.

Police found an electric saw, blades, a hammer and a meat grinder, as well as Choi’s purse and credit cards.

“We are still searching for the head, torso and hands, which we believe were discarded,” Superintendent Alan Chung said after revealing that the mother of one of the legs had been found in a refrigerator.

Two soup pots believed to contain human tissue, as well as black raincoats and face shields, were also found at the location.

“The suspects covered the walls of the apartment with a candle and put on face shields and raincoats so as not to get blood on them while dismembering the body,” Chung said.

Choi graced the cover of a Monaco fashion magazine this month and has also been featured in Elle, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

She was a famous socialite and influencer in Hong Kong, with more than 84,000 followers on Instagram, who came from a wealthy family with interests in the city and mainland China.
