A quite emotional moment was recorded during the match between Besiktas and Antalyaspor, for matchday 22 of the Turkish soccer league.

The match had to be stopped for several minutes due to the large number of dolls that the fans threw from the stands onto the field, as a gift for the children affected by the earthquakes that hit part of the country.

Just four minutes into the match, Besiktas fans threw tens of thousands of stuffed animals with which they went to the Vodafone Park stadium.

So many stuffed animals fell that even the players had to help stadium officials remove them from the pitch to continue the game.

The moment was so emotional that several players cried when they saw the rain of balloons and the solidarity of the fans.

Besiktas gave up a 0-0 draw despite having a maximum penalty in extra time that Cenk Tosun missed.
