At least two TAKE 5 lottery tickets with first prize worth more than $18,000 sold in New York City on Saturday night.

The New York Lottery revealed that the two jackpot-winning tickets for the Take 5 evening drawing on February 25, with a total cost of $18,813, were sold in the state.

In addition, one ticket was sold at Wegmans in Erie County, located at 651 Dick Road in Depaw, and the other at Robeya Corporation at 718 McClean Avenue in Yonkers.

According to the lottery authorities, the jackpot will be divided equally among multiple first prize winners.

The TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field from one to number 39. To win the jackpot, all five numbers on the ticket must match the winning combination of five numbers drawn. The price to play is only $1 dollar.

The raffle is broadcast on television twice a day at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., Silive reported.

In addition, a lottery drawing prize of any value may be claimed up to one year from the drawing date.

The New York Lottery continues to be the largest and most profitable Lottery in North America, contributing $3.68 billion in fiscal year 2021-2022 to support New York State education.
