According to the journalist, Mendoza made several derogatory comments against her of a sexual nature, in a photo that the lady posted on her Facebook profile on February 19. Among her comments, she called her a “wolf” and accused her of having slept with players “two by two.”

“I feel bad because he denigrated me by pointing out that I was just anyone, and that I, in the 2000s, messed with baseball players (…). She totally crossed the line of respect, ”explained Claudia Rodríguez Mora.

After all this controversy, the Major League scout broke the silence and assured that he would give a public apology, but the sports journalist responded and stated that he has no intention of mediating, much less accepting a public apology or financial compensation.

For its part, the Association of Sports Writers of Nicaragua expressed its support for the writer and demanded an apology from the Red Sox worker, while letting it be known that it supports any legal action promoted by Rodríguez, who has 23 years of experience in sports. sports writer.
