According to CNN, the former Republican president, Donald Trump will travel this coming Monday to New York City to appear before a judge on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 3, in the case of an irregular payment to the porn actress Stormy Daniels. Joe Tacopina, Trump’s lawyer, assured that so far Trump will not be handcuffed once he steps on New York soil.
It is known that Trump must appear before the judge at 2:45 pm, New York time, for more than thirty charges, all related to the payment to Daniels of $130,000 dollars. In addition, the court has canceled other less important hearings to prevent foot traffic in the building for security reasons.
According to his lawyer, it is expected that the day that former President Trump will have to appear, the security forces will close the streets around the courts, in Lower Manhattan and that the courts will also close. It is known that the Republican leader is in his mansion in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, where he has been for months.
Trump is being charged in a case related to a payment to buy with money from the 2016 presidential election campaign the silence of the porn actress Stormy Daniels, who claims that she had a sexual relationship with the former president in 2006.
Regarding this case, the current president of the United States, Joe Biden, avoided commenting on the case of Donald Trump. “I have no comment on Trump,” he told reporters at the White House.
