Spirit Airlines announced that it plans to hire more than 4,000 new team members in 2023 as the airline adds new aircraft and destinations to its growing network.
The new hires will include pilots, flight attendants, aviation maintenance technicians and other support center functions.
The airline says it is growing in new cities and existing ones, and has seats available at Spirit and with its commercial partners at airport stations throughout the network.
Now that many companies are laying off talent, the airline will offer jobs with industry-specific travel benefits and advancement opportunities.
“We are welcoming thousands of new members to the Spirit family across our network this year and have a wide range of positions available for people with different interests, talents and experience levels,” said Linde Grindle, senior vice president and chief operating officer. Spirit Airlines human resources.
“As Spirit continues to grow, so do our people. Joining one of the fastest growing airlines means our team members have more opportunities to earn fun travel benefits, advance their career goals, and enable people to fly more often, to more places,” added Grindle.
These new job opportunities follow the airline’s hiring trend in 2022, as thousands of new Spirit team members joined the growing company last year.
