A man in South Carolina cried like a child after learning that he had won $3 million in the Mega Millions drawing.
In a statement this week, the South Carolina Educational Lottery reported that the lucky winner purchased the ticket at the Quick Pantry convenience store in North Charleston.
The millionaire’s name has not been released.
“I cried like a child,” revealed the player about his reaction when he found out that he had won the million-dollar sum.
The customer, who experienced a “joyful feeling” after finding out the winner, bought a $3 ticket.
“What am I going to do with so much money?” he wondered. “Now I have to think, there’s a lot I can do,” she added. The man told lottery officials that I want to help his family first.
After the tax reduction, the man took about $2 million.
