After the FIFA date held between March 20 and 28, Cristiano Ronaldo was received in Al-Nassr with a festive atmosphere after reaching the milestone of becoming the player with the most national team matches with Portugal.

Given what happened, his colleagues from Al-Nassr decided to organize a share with two cakes included and from which several photographs emerged that Cristiano Ronaldo shared through his Instagram account.

One of the desserts was themed around the Saudi club while the other consisted of an image of CR7 in Portugal’s clothing accompanied by the text: “197 international matches. Player with the most caps in history”.

Last Tuesday, March 23, Portugal faced Liechtenstein and that was set as the date on which Cristiano Ronaldo reached the record number of 197 international matches. In the game, El Bicho managed to score a brace in 12 minutes.

But CR7 continued to set an advantage with said record, as it reached 198 games at the close of the FIFA date for the Euro 2024 qualifier in the duel against Luxembourg. There he also scored on a couple of occasions, making that nation his favorite victim since he has scored 11 goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s next appearance will be on Tuesday, April 4 against Al Adalh for matchday 22 of the Saudi Professional League. Al-Nassr currently occupies the second position in the tournament, one point behind the leader Al Ittihad, which has 50 units.
