A Fluminense fan died and another is injured after an argument recorded in a bar in Rio de Janeiro, after the final game of the Carioca championship, which was played against Flamengo.
The police version indicates that during the discussion a subject took a weapon and killed a 40-year-old man, and wounded another with three shots.
The latter is in “serious health” in a local hospital, as indicated by the doctors who care for him.
The event occurred in a bar in Tijuca, located in the northern part of Rio de Janeiro, which is frequented by Fluminense fans.
The police did not clarify if there were Flamengo fans there, who are listed as Fluminense’s worst rivals.
Both clubs had met hours earlier in the first leg of the Brazilian Championship final, in which Flamengo won 2-0.
The author of the shots was arrested and, according to the Police, alleged that he reacted that way after being attacked with a bottle.
