Apple is willing to buy your iPhones, iPads, iWatches and MacBooks and other devices you’ve already used and pay you for it. This is done by the company through its Apple Trade In program.

This is a way for Apple to get devices back to fix and resell or salvage parts of them, as well as save them from being thrown into landfills.

“It’s easy to trade in your eligible device for credit toward your next purchase or get an Apple gift card that you can use anytime,” the company says on its website.

And if your devices aren’t eligible for credit, Apple says it will recycle your products for free. “No matter the model or condition, we can turn it into something good for you and good for the planet,” the company adds.

Apple can give you up to $600 for an iPhone 13 Pro Max, and $730 for a MacBook Pro.

There are two ways to trade in the devices. You can return them by mail using a prepaid redemption kit that Apple will mail to you. Or, you can bring your devices to trade in at an Apple Store.

Like other trade-in programs, once your device has been evaluated, you’ll receive your credit as a gift card that you can use toward the purchase of any Apple product.
