Aylín Mujica, Paola Villalobos and Samira Jalil witnessed a hot air balloon fire in Teotihuacán, Mexico, where two people died.
Friends since their time on the reality show ‘La Casa de los Famosos’, the actresses descended from their balloon just a few minutes before the fire in another unit.
“We have just experienced a very strong event. I can tell you that thanks to God and to the Virgin who accompanied us, nothing happened to us. We had to see a very hard experience, a person burned in the hot air balloon”.
“I think we had five minutes after landing, to have our feet on the ground, so it is pure impotence of not knowing what to do,” Villalobos shared on his Instagram account.
Mujica and Jalil assured that the company in which they traveled was not responsible for the accident, since it has the certificates, pilot licenses and trained personnel.
“I want to clarify that the unfortunate accident that happened in the morning (yesterday), where there were two people who unfortunately lost their lives, has nothing to do with this company,” Mujica wrote.
“We have been able to experience a tragedy live. A balloon caught fire right next to us. A married couple died, there was a 13-year-old girl, thank God she was saved… I am very sorry for what happened, the balloon fell next to us. We have had to live and listen to the screams of the man while he was dying,” Jalil claimed.
